On April 8, 2023, approximately 5,000 people of many gender identities gathered starting at 11am in front of San Francisco City Hall for some brief comments and music as part of Drag Up! Fight Back! March & Rally, sponsored by the People’s March, Oasis, and the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence among others. Around 12 noon, the lively group marched down Market Street to San Francisco’s Union Square, where speakers and drag performers rallied and entertained the crowd.
